Why am I being charged a flat meter rate?

This will depend on how your property is setup, but this is usually due to technical difficulties reading your meter.

The flat charge amount is an average of your community and is intended to prevent a potentially large bill at a later date. Once we are able to properly read the meter, we will adjust your bill to reflect the accurate amount.
